State Softball Championships

In Week 8 of Term 3, Rory and Matthew travelled to Tamworth to represent the North Coast Region in softball.  The boys had a great time making new friends and learning the more about the game of softball.  Both boys got the chance to compete against the best and fastest pitcher in the state and managed to avoid being struck out, getting a hit to first base. 

Rory played pitcher and third base, while Matthew played first base.  Both boys also had success with their batting with Rory hitting a home run and Matthew amassing a total of 6 home runs. 

Overall the North Coast Team managed to finish 6^th out of the thirteen teams competing.  Well done boys!
