Teacher Profile
My name is Tina Budd and I have been a permanent teacher at Wyrallah Road Public School since 2017. This year I will be on the Stage 1 team, teaching Year 2. I grew up in Nambucca Heads and graduated from Southern Cross University (Lismore) in 2006. Before returning to Lismore, I taught at Bourke Public School for 9 years and gained a lot of experience and skills. As a teacher, I aim to develop a strong rapport with each student. I am passionate about creating an engaging and safe classroom where students have fun and enjoy learning. I think it is important that students have hands on experiences and implement this throughout all lessons. Having open communication with parents and carers is important, and I am looking forward to working with you this year. I can’t wait to teach 2B, see them grow as learners and encourage them to be kind and thoughtful. I am excited to be teaching alongside Miss Hart and will be working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for Term 1.

Teacher Profile
My name is Emma Hart, and I have been part of the Wyrallah Road teaching team since 2022. I grew up in the Northern Rivers, studying at local schools, before going on to do a Bachelor of Arts in contemporary music at Southern Cross University.
I worked as an Early Childhood music specialist in Melbourne and locally at The Northern Rivers Conservatorium, spanning 20 years. During this time, I completed a Master of Teaching through Queensland University of Technology, to expand my love of learning and teaching, and move into a Primary setting.
In my spare time I love to dance and sing with my daughter and go for beach walks with our Labradoodle, Obi.
