Teacher Profile
My name is Emma Kelly and I am excited to be teaching Stage 3 this year! I completed my teaching degree at Deakin University in Melbourne and have taught at a range of schools across Victoria and the Northern Rivers. I have had the pleasure of teaching students from Kindergarten to Year Six and have enjoyed my experience with all of them. I have a passion for teaching and learning, and I strongly believe that building positive relationships with my students allows them to thrive in a safe and nurturing learning environment. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending my spare time at the beach with my partner and our cheeky three-year-old daughter. I am excited to be working alongside Mrs Pearson this year, and I will be working on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Teacher Profile
My name is Emily Pearson and I am thrilled to be at WRPS again this year. I completed my Education degree at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and shortly after began my teaching career in Tenterfield. I then moved to London, and after teaching and travelling there for 2 years I moved back to the beautiful Northern Rivers. My husband and our three kids live in Ballina and in our spare time you'll find us outdoors, most likely at the beach.
I am passionate about education and am here to make a difference in the lives of my students. I absolutely love my job and I believe in creating and fostering a happy, safe and inviting learning environment for all students. Success for students begins with a positive relationship and I have an open door policy for students and their parents and carers. I Am passionate about literacy and I hope to pass on my love of reading and learning to my students.
