Teacher Profile:
My name is Megan Ward, and I am excited to be working with the students and families in K/1M. I grew up in Lismore and completed my teaching degree at Southern Cross University in 2010 before working in schools across the Northern Rivers. I have been a part of the WRPS team since 2020 and I am looking forward to taking on a different role this year.
I have a husband and two beautiful boys. We love to spend our free time outside, camping and with friends. We have a golden Labrador named Sam who is a very cheeky boy.
I am passionate about inclusive education and strive to have a classroom where every student feels welcome, safe, and heard. I aim to provide a range of learning experiences that allow students to develop their own love of learning through exploration and enjoyment. I believe in developing a growth mindset approach to problems and enjoy watching students become creative and critical thinkers as they explore the world around them. I look forward to working with you this year.
