BOYS' SOCCER

Last Friday, the Boys' Soccer Team travelled to Yamba to play their Round 5 match against Yamba Public School. The boys got off to a bad start when Yamba were awarded a penalty, which they managed to score from. Later in the match, WRPS were awarded a penalty after Leo was fouled in the box.  Rory calmly took the opportunity and the scores were locked at 1-1. The game looked set to go into extra time until in the last minute of the match, Jed found some space in front of the goal and managed to put the ball over the keeper's head to seal the victory. Our next match will be against Murwillumbah.
