On Friday, 16 November, Stage 2 and 3 Aboriginal students attended the AIME Kindling Event at SCU.
Jackson and Marshall delivered the Acknowledgement of Country for the event opening. The event was attended by over 300 people including students from other local primary and high schools. There were motivational speakers, performances by students and activities for the students to do during breaks. Attendance at this event gave the students a chance to see what AIME is about and encouraged each of them to maintain pride in themselves and their culture.
