P.S.S.A. Knock-out Girls Hockey
Watch out Hockeyroos! Last Wednesday, we travelled to Murwillumbah for the second round of the P.S.S.A. hockey knock-out competition. We played against Pottsville Beach Public School. Caitlyn scored first making it 1-0 at half-time. In the second half, Tahlia and Caitlyn scored again, but Pottsville scored 3 goals making it 3-3 at full-time. This meant we had to play drop offs. We played golden goal. We played 7 minutes with 9 players with no score then we played with only 7 players each. Our team had no reserves but we kept running hard. Unfortunately, in less than a minute, Pottsville Beach scored the winning goal. Thank you to all the parents who assisted with transport and cheered us on and to Jane Parrish who umpired at very short notice.

Congratulations to the girls for being wonderful ambassadors of our school. They all played extremely well showing improved skill while working well as a team. The girls never gave up despite it being quite warm and having no reserves.
TEAM: Harriet, Tylah, Teagan, Skyla, Charlotte, Tahlia, Abigail, Hannah, Dakota, Georgina and Caitlyn.
