Last Wednesday, 4 students represented WRPS at the Gardiner Chess Northern Rivers Chess Tournament, held at St John's Woodlawn. Our team of Jed, Zane, Maison, and Brodey played really well, placing 4th out of the 25 teams. Each of the boys won at least 4 of their 7 games. It was an excellent experience for the boys, who are all practising hard to improve on their performance next time.
Chess Club runs on Friday lunchtimes in Mr Henderson's classroom.
