Northern Rivers Zone Cross Country

NORTHERN RIVERS ZONE CROSS COUNTRY

Last Friday, 45 children travelled to Corndale Public School to compete in the Northern Rivers Zone Cross Country. It was a tough course with steep hills, narrow bridges and some slippery patches for the runners to negotiate. Our students all put in a terrific effort with four athletes finishing in the top six to qualify for the North Coast Cross Country Carnival to be held in Murwillumbah on Friday, 17 June. The students who qualified for the North Coast Cross Country are:

Hannah Danforth 2^nd (8/9years girls)

William Brown 6^th (10 years boys)

Kane Blanksby 3^rd (11years boys)

Thomas Gregory 2^nd  (12 years boys)
