Teacher Profile
I am very much looking forward to teaching the 4/5/6 extension class this year and join the students on their learning journey throughout the year. Prior to working at Wyrallah Rd I had numerous experiences teaching Stage 3 classes as well as extension and opportunity classes in various schools across Sydney.
I provide a structured and well-planned learning program to make the children feel comfortable and understand that the classroom is a meaningful environment. This includes daily routines of which the children are aware. I establish challenging, yet achievable learning activities and provide support for students to attain their personal goals. I create an environment in my classroom that is welcoming and positive where all students learn from one another and feel safe and comfortable to share their thoughts and ideas.
Class Profile:
In Class 4/5/6S we have 7 Year 4 students, 6 Year 5 students and 14 Year 6 students. You will find us working hard and collaborating with each other in the end classroom on the lower level of the Stage 3 block. We operate in an inclusive and happy environment in which every student feels valued and confident to contribute and learn. I welcome parents to drop in and say “Hello” anytime, or make a direct appointment with me to discuss your child’s progress.
