PSSA BOYS CRICKET

Congratulations to the boys’ cricket team who played Maclean last Thursday. The game was made extra challenging due to a rather unhappy Masked Lapwing (Plover) bird, which tormented the fielders for much of the day. The boys displayed team spirit and fantastic sportsmanship. The boys bowled and fielded magnificently, dismissing Maclean for 98 runs. We passed Maclean’s score without the loss of any wickets. Special mentions to Matthew and Rory for reaching 40 runs each and retiring not out. WRPS will play Westlawn in the next round.
