Boys' PSSA Soccer Knockout

On Tuesday, the boy's soccer team played against Murwillumbah East Public School in Round 6 of the PSSA knockout. It was evident very early in the game that Murwillumbah were a very talented team and we would have to play very well to come away with a win. Thankfully, perhaps against the run of play, midway through the first half Kobe found himself with some space and in front of goal expertly placed the ball in the back of the net.  We went to half time with a 1-0 lead.  Early in the second half, Kobe again managed to score and we went to a 2-0 lead.  Murwillumbah kept attacking and with about 10 minutes to go, they scored.  Thankfully our defence held and we managed to take out the match 2-1.  A fantastic effort from all the boys. Our next match will be against Narranga PS.
