The weather was kind and the tide was low last Monday, when over 150 students from Stage 2 and 4/5E went barefoot for a day at Lennox Head beach. The professional lifeguards from Lennox Head SLSC taught us vital safety information regarding the ocean and the beach, as well as showing us some of the impressive equipment, including drones and a jet ski. We also played a range of beach games including flag races before walking to the southern end of the beach, with our buckets and spades, to build imaginative sandcastles.
