On Wednesday 21 June, Georgina and Lucinda from Stage 2 and Abigail and Harriet from Stage 3, proudly represented Wyrallah Road Public School in the local final of the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition. The local final was held at Alstonville Public School and all four girls did a wonderful job at presenting not only their prepared speeches, but also an impromptu speech given to them on the day.
We are delighted with the effort of all four girls on the day and thrilled to announce that Georgina Freund was named the Winner of Stage 2. This takes Georgina through to the next round, the Regional final to be held in August. Harriet was also named as the Stage 3 Runner Up.
Congratulations to all for girls for their fantastic efforts. We wish Georgina luck as she prepares for the Regional Final in Term 3.
