Last Friday, 45 children travelled to Corndale Public School to compete in the Northern Rivers Zone Cross Country. It was a tough course with steep hills, narrow bridges and some muddy patches for the runners to negotiate.
Our children all put in a terrific effort with four athletes finishing in the top six to qualify for the North Coast Cross Country Carnival to be held in Murwillumbah on Friday, 9 June.
The students who qualified for the North Coast Cross Country are: Kane B, William B, Caitlyn H and Hannah D. Congratulations to these students!
