Debating Team Training By Skyla, Kiara and Charlotte B
As the President of the United States of America no less, Harriet unfortunately missed out on the last parachute on offer. She was beaten in the end by some strong arguments coming from our very own Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull.
On Wednesday, 24th February eight students from Stage 3 travelled to Lennox Head Public School for debate training. We did some games such as "The Last Parachute" and "If I Ruled the World". If Kiara ruled the world she would help third world countries. We also learnt how to create a debate and debated each other about the topic "If school should go from 9 to 5". We had LOTS of fun and want to especially thank the parents who assisted with transport – Mr Freund and Mr Davis.
