Teacher Profile:
Hello, my name is Mr. Mark Platt and I have been working at Wyrallah Road Public School since 2015. Prior to moving back to the Northern Rivers I spent six years teaching in the Hills District of North Western Sydney, where I taught both Stage 2 and 3.
Class Profile:
I strongly believe that all students are unique and have the ability to shine in their own way. I urge all of my students to make the most of the year and to get involved in extracurricular activities they have a passion for. In my classroom, I promote the ethos that there is no such thing as ‘I can’t’ and believe that some of the best learning opportunities come through failed attempts and having a go. I hope to instil a sense of pride and positive mindset in all of my students, with the aim to develop resilience and increase independence as they progress through their schooling.
