Teacher Profiles:

1A will have two teachers this year:

Miss Beaumont

Hello, my name is Maddie Beaumont and I am very excited to be a co-teacher in 1A this year. I grew up in the Northern Rivers, attending local schools. I enjoy an active lifestyle and spend much of my free time engaging in sport activities or spending time with my partner and two dogs at the beach. I have a background in Early Childhood Education and completed a Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education in 2020. Since then, I have been teaching casually in various Lismore schools, including Wyrallah Road Public School. My teaching philosophy is one that focuses on a relationship-based approach to learning and providing an inclusive environment for students to become capable and engaged learners. I focus on students' skills and interests as opportunities for learning and unlocking personal potential and growth. I am looking forward to being a member of the WRPS community and learning from students and teachers as I begin my teaching journey.

Mrs Alexander

My name is Rebecca Alexander and I'm looking forward to sharing the year ahead with you and your child. After completing a combined teaching degree in both Early Childhood and Primary Education at Macquarie University I was fortunate enough to be offered a position at Wyrallah Road Public School in 2016. My educational philosophy is grounded in creating a strong sense of belonging for each child in my class through an environment in which every individual is highly valued for their unique contribution to both the class and the school community. I have high expectations for my students and will ensure all students engage with learning tasks to the best of their ability through the implementation of personal learning goals. I believe that partnerships with families are vital in fostering the best learning environment for my students and I am looking forward to forming trusting relationship with your child and family over the coming year.
