2S

Teacher Profile:

My name is Maegen Toms and I am thrilled to be teaching your child in 2S this year each Monday and Tuesday. I completed my Bachelor of Education in Lismore at Southern Cross University in 2009. I was fortunate to gain a permanent teaching position at Wyrallah Road Public School in 2013 and am thrilled to be teaching Stage 1 this year. I live in Lennox Head, am married and have two beautiful boys. I have strong family values and am enthusiastic to make a difference in children's lives. A quality teacher has to feel the art of teaching. As a teacher I am determined to assist all children to believe in themselves, knowing that they are capable of anything they set their mind to. Essentially, I am devoted to teaching children and could not think of a more rewarding profession.

My name is Emily Stevens and I am thrilled to be teaching 2S on Wednesday- Friday this year. I completed my Education degree at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and shortly after began my teaching career in Tenterfield. I then moved to London, and after teaching and travelling there for 2 years I moved back to the beautiful Northern Rivers. My partner and our son live in Ballina and in our spare time you'll find us outdoors, most likely at the beach. I am passionate about education and am here to make a difference in the lives of my students. I love my job and I believe in creating and fostering a happy, safe and inviting learning environment for all students. Success for students begins with a positive relationship and I have an open door policy for students and their parents and carers. Am passionate about reading and I hope to pass on my love of reading and learning to my students.
