Teacher Profile:

Hello, my name is Lisa Taylor and I am a Northern Rivers local. I love this area and all it has to offer. I spend my spare time at the beach with family, camping or exploring the local hinterland. I have two children – Josiah 10 Yrs and Elliott 8 Yrs who both attend school in the local area.

Literature is one of my many passions, I LOVE children’s books and enjoy reading literary novels. In my spare time you can find me writing, as I work towards crafting a novel of my own.

I have been teaching for 12 years at Casino Public School as a permanent classroom teacher. In this time, I have also undertaken a variety of leadership roles, including a previous Relieving Assistant Principal position.

My teaching philosophy is underpinned by High Expectations Relationships, founded in the work of the Stronger Smarter team. I work closely with each student in my class to achieve their best. I encourage student agency and work hard to create a learning environment and culture that enables students to connect, thrive and succeed. I am very excited to be working at Wyrallah Road Public School and look forward to connecting with the wider school community.
