Sue Hanger
Hi, my name is Sue Hanger and I have been working at WRPS as a Teacher's Aide for nearly 18 years. I started my career as a teacher in 1979 after gaining my diploma in General Primary Teaching at Northern Rivers College of Advanced Education in Lismore. I taught in the Tweed area for one year and then spent seven years at Clunes Public School before leaving teaching to raise my 5 children.
I re-entered the work force in 1999 working as an Aide at Lismore Heights Public School and Richmond River High School. In 2003 I had the good fortune of gaining a position at WRPS.
Over my time at WRPS I have had the wonderful privilege of being a part of the care and education of several special students who have each left their unique footprint on my heart. I continue to greatly appreciate being a part of the supportive staff here.
Outside of school I enjoy cooking, going to the movies, being involved in church activities and spending time with family-especially my five gorgeous grandchildren!
