Megan Perring
My name is Megan Perring and I have taught in many and varied school settings both in Queensland and NSW as a classroom teacher and in varied Learning and Support teacher roles. I returned to the North Coast with my family and was fortunate to receive a teaching position at Wyrallah Road Public School. I have enjoyed various teaching and executive roles during my time at WRPS. This year I am excited to be taking on the role of leading the Stage 1 teaching team and Deputy Principal.
I believe learning and wellbeing are intricately linked. Students learn best when their wellbeing is optimised, and they develop a strong sense of wellbeing when they experience success in learning. All children can learn given the appropriate support, building positive and respectful relationships in a stimulating and challenging learning environment with high expectations of their success. I will continue in my role leading and working collaboratively with the WRPS Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) team and staff to ensure our school provides a supportive, stimulating and inspiring learning environment for all children.
