My name is Jada Williams and I am Wyrallah Road Public School’s new Aboriginal Student Learning Support Officer (SLSO). In 2019 I graduated high school from St Johns College Woodlawn and started working at WRPS immediately after completing my HSC exams.
As I am from the Northern Rivers and am a young Aboriginal woman from the Bundjalung and Gumbaynggirr nations. I look forward to working with the young Indigenous students and being someone who they are able to look up to as a role model.
At WRPS, I work with Indigenous students from Year 2 to Year 6 in their classrooms with any help they may need with their classwork or if they need more encouragement or motivation to complete their work in class time.
